The First Few Days<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We use a medical grade spray that creates a flexible plastic coating.
This will stay on for 2 – 4 days.\u00a0<\/p>

Once this starts peeling off, do not pull the rest of it off!\u00a0 Allow it to peel off naturally, but start applying very small amounts of tattoo aftercare balm on the exposed tattoo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

TATU FIX BALM\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

You should do this consistently every 2-3 hours, or whenever your tattoo starts to feel like it\u2019s getting dry.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>

You may wash the area gently with plain water or a mild antiseptic NON-PERFUMED soap and gently dab it dry.<\/p>

Keep the area clean and ALWAYS wash your hands before applying the aftercare balm.\u00a0 Your tattoo will be healed within 2 weeks.<\/p>

During the healing process, keep the tattoo clean and dry,\u00a0avoid direct sunlight and soaking it in water<\/strong> for at least a month (showers are ok, baths are not).<\/p>

DO NOT GO SWIMMING!<\/u><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

First Few Weeks<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As the tattoo heals, it may flake slightly.
Don’t scratch or pick at it, as this may remove the sub-dermal ink in that area and lead to slightly lighter patches.
If it itches, don’t scratch \u2013 slap it lightly instead.
This should only last for the first couple weeks or so \u2013 if it stays raised, itches excessively, reddens around the design, keeps bleeding for more than a day after completion, or feels hot to the touch, go back to your artist or seek medical advice.<\/p>

Infected tattoos are very rare but can happen, and it’s always worth getting it checked out if you’re worried about it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Avoid exposing it to excessive sun. Healed tattoos, especially coloured ones, can fade in the sun.<\/p>

Even when completely healed, make sure it’s covered in a high SPF sun cream if you’re going to be catching some rays.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the unlikely event the ink becomes fainter in the healing process, we shall retouch it free of charge.
We want to make sure you’re happy with the final product.
After about 6 weeks, in the unlikely event that it may be necessary, you can come back if you need touch-ups on any area of the tattoo<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
